Established in 2005, Shenzhen Silver Star Intelligent Group Co., Ltd. has more than 1,600 employees. It is an intelligent and platform-based technology company, focused on providing customers with designing, manufacturing, market research , a full range of solutions and services of Service Robots, especially on Robot Vacuum Cleaners and Scrubbing Robots.
As a leader in the robot vacuum cleaners industry, Silver Star Intelligent Technology initiatively has proposed the “OPM business model” and has practised it since 2017, which contains product defining, R&D of key components, and market services ,based on original ODM business model. “OPM business model” is to serve customers from the perspective of industrial collaboration, breaking the traditional model of the upstream, midstream and downstream industrial chain, and providing customers with whole machines and end-to-end services by integrating upstream resources. Eventually, help all customers achieve the goal of reducing costs and increasing efficiency with high-quality products and services, leading the transformation of the Robot Vacuum Cleaners industry.
Development Path
The company was established, and it developed and manufactured the first generation of robot vacuum cleaners.
2005
Tt set up the joint R&D base in cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and launched its own brand KV8 on the market.
2009
It was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, and it launched its high-end service robot products on the market, with an annual turnover exceeding RMB 100 million.
2010
Its products were rated as “National Key New Products” and “New Products of Independent Innovation in Guangdong Province”.; It undertook the Project of “Intelligent Household Service Robot” of the National Torch Program, and then won the “Innovative Enterprise Award of All China Federation of Industry and Commerce”. It carried out shareholding restructuring the same year.
2011
Its own brand KV8 was awarded the “Famous Trademark of Guangdong Province”
2015
It won the title of “2019 China’s Top 100 AIoT Companies Published by Forbes”, and its independently developed laser navigation products were successfully launched on the market. It also initiated its equity incentive project.
2019
It has completed completed the B++ round of financing, and is promoting IPO.
